I'm wondering about a statement that I just read and agree with:
"People are not influenced by your bumper sticker, but they are influenced by the way you live." Joyce Meyer
OK, so my question for ALL of us is, how have others influenced you by the way they live?
I am drawn to women that are hungry for God whether just starting their walk or even if they have been walking with God for some time now. But their hunger calls them to study and to share.
I am also drawn to women that are HONEST and TRANSPARENT. I am influenced by both of these to be more than I am today because of Christ dwelling in me.
Love to you,
Yolanda

I have to agree with that statement. I am most influenced by someone who has walked that difficult path, lived through brokenness, and found God. She is so encouragening to me and I have found so many women like that here in blog land (and a few in my community). This person makes it a priority to spend time with God and it shows.
Blessings.

Being loved in spite of... Not having to live a perfect life, always doing and being right but actually loving others.
I would have to agree with you both! I am drawn to people that are hungry and walking in the light of the Lord.
However, I am also drawn to those not in the light, because I see the need for them to know God. I am drawn by a love for them to feel the same joy and love that God has for me, so I can help them find hope in the midst of their lives.

I agree with Joyce on this as well! :) (I just love Joyce Meyer--thanks for sharing a quote of hers!)
People definitely influence me by how the live! In particular, how a person reacts to situations, whether or not they gossip, if they walk what they talk, if they aren't afraid to share their faith, etc. It's much more than a bumper sticker or a fish symbol on the back of the car! :)
Prayers and blessings,
Rebecca
By the way, when I got home from work last night I found Joyce's latest magazine in my mailbox. Imagine my surprise to find the quote you referenced here in one of her articles!!! :) :) And it's a good article! :)

I LOVE IT!
(I do think bumper stickers influence, too:) But, yes our lives are what influences most. (I also think that God puts His special touch on the small things we do- i.e. a bumper sticker for Him, when our lives reflect Him!) I am also drawn to the honest and desperate for Jesus.
Thanks for your passion for Jesus!
Transparency is the number one thing I look for in a person. I'm very transparent and it's very hard for me to hide things and be fake with people.
